Noelle Collado is a volunteer of The Pura Maria Foundation - New Beginnings and is an insurance professional with over 20 years experience leading teams, developing products and underwriting in the insurance and reinsurance market.
Noelle’s insurance career began in the management liabilities lines as an underwriter. She is now Head of Casualty Insurance for a leading Reinsurance company managing various programs across multiple casualty lines.
Noelle has her MBA from Fordham University and an undergraduate degree from Baruch College. Noelle has served as a mentor through various industry organizations and corporate initiatives.
She is passionate about supporting woman in leadership, mentoring young women personally and professionally and supporting her local community organizations.
Expanding upon these efforts, she has recently explored ways to become more impactful on serious social issues such as domestic violence.
Michele Fenice is a member of The Pura Maria Foundation – New Beginnings. Authenticity is at the core of Michele’s brand. Michele places an emphasis on her one-on-one interactions with others and finds a way to truly relate and connect to them. Her warmth and ability to truly listen sets her apart from other individuals serving in senior level positions. Michele is an advocate for young women and devotes her time speaking on a host of panels aimed at empowerment. Michele’s personal qualities and values sync with her professional persona which has attributed to her success and ability to earn people’s trust and respect. Michele currently sits on the Board of the NYC Chapter of Step Up, an organization devoted to helping underserved high school girls. Michele is devoted to finding ways to give young girls and women many of the opportunities she has been fortunate to experience in life. Michele received her law degree from New York Law School and undergraduate degree from Albright College. Michele has 30 years of legal experience both from the law firm perspective and in-house. Michele is currently the Vice President and EPL Claim Leader for the East Region at Chubb.
Norma Poindexter is a team member of The Pura Maria Foundation - New Beginnings and passionately supports the mission and momentum to provide innovative solutions that make a difference for domestic violence survivors. Norma strongly believes your home is your sanctuary, and she’s a fearless advocate to help people find a way to reclaim their lives and self esteem with a renewed sense of the possibility for hope, empowerment, and change. By fighting to make a difference through innovation, optimism and an infectious spirit, she hopes to support domestic violence victims by helping to drive the development of strong partnerships, new outreach programs, and fundraising.
Norma is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Pre-Law and History. She has been involved with the Telecom and Technology industries for over 30 years, holding numerous Vice President of Global Business Development positions at both recognized industry giants and startups. An acknowledged leader in the Telecom industry, as well as purpose-driven Non Profits, she’s known for her respective global work and awards for excellence in project leadership, innovation, partnership and market creation, emerging technology and product development, fundraising, and exponential revenue production.
Norma is now CEO of Innovation Group, providing strategy and business development consultation and implementation to global C-level executives. She enjoys travelling and the peace brought by beautiful music and nature settings, and mentoring.
Jennifer R. Weinstein is a volunteer of The Pura Maria Foundation - New Beginnings. Jennifer comes to the Foundation as the AVP of Management Liability Claims for OneBeacon Insurance. Jennifer currently manages a group that handles all aspects of management liability claim, including EPL, private D&O, fiduciary, crime and employed attorneys. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jennifer has handled claims for several large carriers with increasing complexities and responsibilities. She previously served as a Senior Attorney for the New York State Department of Health, handling employment law issues in the healthcare industry within the State. Jennifer's motivation to volunteer comes from experiencing personal family that has been impacted by domestic violence and because she is driven to prevent another person from living in fear of their partner. Jennifer looks forward to being involved in this organization to make positive changes. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ithaca College and a juris doctor from Hofstra University School of Law. Jennifer is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New York.
Tami Helms is a volunteer of The Pura Maria Foundation - New Beginnings. Tami comes to the Foundation as a survivor of domestic violence. As a young woman, Tami experienced domestic violence with her then husband and had to make the scary and hard decision to get herself and her daughter out of an abusive situation.
Tami is currently the Supervisor of Finance Operations at NETSTOCK USA LLC. Tami manages the accounts receivable functions as well as acts as a liaison between 3rd party vendors to ensure customer satisfaction. Tami also volunteers as an office administrator for StapoMX, assisting with customers who want to rent and ride dirt bikes. Tami enjoys riding and racing her own dirt bike in her personal time. One of the major perks of being a woman in a male dominated sport is encouraging other women and young girls to show them that they can accomplish anything they want in life.
Tami’s motivation to volunteer comes from her own personal experiences with domestic violence. Tami’s passion is to encourage and help prevent others from going through these scary situations. Tami looks forward to contributing through the Foundation to make a real difference.
